Prentsilya (Print-sil-ya) means above all things cherish good character. I believe that your thoughts guide your actions, actions guide your habits, habits build character, and your character defines your DESTINY!
I am a French born American of Ivorian descent. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in International Business and Spanish and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Towson University. I am an advocate and co-founder of Ivorian Hope, a non-profit working in rural villages in Cote d’Ivoire, Africa. I am an entrepreneur, mentor and coach to young African-American women in Maryland through a program called Forever Sisters.I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree at American University. I have traveled to Latin America, Africa, and Europe. I am passionate about empowering other young women to become global influential people.
What I do:
- Advocate for creative solutions to poverty (visit www.IvorianHope.org for more details!)
- Traveler of the world (I want to go everywhere and see everything.)
- Writer (duh! This is a blog, so you will see that for yourself.)
- Speaker (I love speaking and reaching out to young people because they have a yearning to learn and I can relate to them easily. Contact me for speaking engagements!)
- Student (I always seem to find my way back into school! I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree and can't wait to share what I learn with you all.)
- Mentor (I currently mentor high school girls and this site is dedicated to them)
This blog is dedicated to the young women that I personally mentor and to any one that is just curious. By sharing my real life experiences and resources that I have used I hope to help in setting goals, proactively accomplishing them, and contributing to the global society as people of character. Enjoy!
